I would suppose that most people get most of their ideas about what
is right and what is wrong from teachers of religion.

You can suppose it, but that doesn't mean it's necessarily fact.

Can you imagine how much worse the world would be if there were no
teachers of religion?

You fail to consider the equal possibility that the world just might be
a bit better without such teachers. Religion is a construct of certain
people, and it's been abused for every known purpose ever since the first
concept of religion appeared a few thousand years ago.

The evidence uncovered by archeologists and physical anthropoligists
indicates that religion was first used only for honoring and
consecrating dead people and for providing their bodies with very
useful tools and implements needed for dealing with the common and everyday
tasks they would be faced with while living an eternal
life. Religion was not used in the good old primitive days for
hastening people's deaths.

Really? If that's the case, then your own bible is lying. What was Sodom and

Stand by for the "that's different" fallacy.

Sodom and Gomorrah were communities of the current post-primitive era.
The post-primitive era got started with Adam and Eve. They are the
ones that people like to blame for everything that went wrong and for
all the bad things that are still happening in the current era. Eve
should have known better than to listen to that talking snake. She
should have told the snake to keep its big mouth shut and Eve's
husband should have ordered her to do the same.

Nice tapdance, and I'm not interested in the rest of your incoherent

happened.
