Ops relyed to the wrong post. Should have been one up.
I like the fact that you focus on irrelevant details on what George
Bush might have been doing for 700 seconds (11 minutes), you focus
all this hate on Bush and practically no hate for the terrorists
who killed your fellow American Citizens. To add...another ironic
thing about this whole Richard Clarke thing is that, he is
basically arguing that we should have acted and crippled Al Queda
before they attacked us....isn't that a preemptive strike policy?
The same type of policy that all you liberal morons think is a bad
idea!
Don't bother asking liberals to make sense. Not making sense is what
makes them liberals.
Before they attacked us?! What about the Cole? Weren't those 17
soldiers are fellow American citizens too? What about the 1993 WTC
bombing? What about the Millenium plot that WAS thwarted? The fact is
that UBL and his co-horts had already killed Americans before 9/11.
So, your whole preemptive strike arguement is squashed. Who is the
moron now? The point is that Al Queda were already a threat and yet
the Bush Administration chose not to focus seriously on the issue.
Immediately after Bush arrived in the Oval Office, Condi Rice made a
BIG mistake by reorganizing how information concerning terrorism was
being filtered through the White House. I don't have time to educate
you on what was done, but I would suggest that you stop listening to
the pundits and do a little research/reading on your own from credible
sources. However, I will remind you that even Bush has been quoted as
saying in Bob Woodward's book that he wasn't "on point" when it came
to the threat of terrorism. I don't think too many Americans have a
problem with 'preemptive strike' so long as it relates to fighting
true terrorism, but I do have a major problem with making a
'preemptive strike' on a country when there is NOT substantial
reliable evidence indicating an immediate threat to our country. So
don't go confusing Al Queda with Iraq...remember Bush has even said
there is no link between the two.
Actually, Saddam tried to assasinate our President which I take as an
attack on our country. He also spit on the UN and its sactions kind
remniscent of when Hitler ignored the Treaty of Versailles.
Liberals will overlook an assassination attempt on former President Bush by
their hero Saddam in order to smear George W Bush.
