Well, unlike you I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt to my own
government before I give it to Saddam Hussain. And unlike you, I have the
patients to allow my government to catch it's breath after fighting the
war
before demanding it dig the WMD out of the desert. My guess is that we'll
find plenty within 5 years or so. You should join the military and learn
some damn patriotism.
I spent over 20 years in the military -- and I still disagree with Bush and
his so-called justification for war. A true patriot knows that we only send
our troops to war only as a last resort -- not because some
neo-conservatives are itching to fight a war.
I know about patriotism. What have YOU done for your country?

In some ways, I find it sad that for far too many Americans, patriotism and
supporting our troops simply means displaying the American flag -- forget
about actually doing anything that requires any real sacrifice in terms of
time or money. Shortly after the war in Iraq began, some of the women at
my gym were really proud of the fact that they brought really expensive
signs for their yards declaring their support for the troops. Too bad, not
a single "troop" could see the signs. The only thing the signs did, in my
opinion, was give these women a warm fuzzy feeling about how noble they
were.
In my opinion, if they REALLY wanted to support the troops, they would have
donated the money to the USO or other organizations that send care packages
and such to the troops. These women remind me of Bush who praises our
servicemen in public -- then privately cuts or denies benefits such as
increasing death benefits or cutting funding for the education for military
members children.

We were discussing this in my Marketing Principles class last week. I
gave my opinion that all the flags and t-shirts and crap were just an
easy way for someone to say "see, I'm helping, I'm supporting the
troops!" without having to actually get up off his/her fat, lazy *****
and actually *do* anything. Then someone else asked me what *I* would
do to support the troops. I told him that when I was a troop, all I
wanted in the way of support was the time, tools and parts I needed to
do my job and enough money to live while doing my job. Beyond that, I
didn't *want* much contact with "supporting" civilians.

Rumsfeld is a traitor who opened the door for U.S. Anthrax

war in Iraq then blamed the military when his "Strategy"
turned out to be *****.
