The "family" is the cult formerly known as the "children of god".

Very interesting. Actually the whole web site it interesting. The guy
is also an apologist for the Scientology cult in their killing of Lisa
McPherson so this isn't a surprise.
I wonder how much money Scientology has funneled to this lying sack.

Good god. It's like he is a Republican or something. HOWEVER, I am
not aware of anywhere on the 'net where Rev. Melton claims to be
unbiased. Just like "experts" who are paid to give their
"opinions" in court cases, Rev. Melton accepts money for his
"opinions" on what are generally called "cults." As far as I can
find, Rev. Melton doesn't even recognize the existance of
destructive, injurous religions and churches (nor organized crime
sych as Scientology Inc.).

Very interesting. Actually the whole web site it interesting.
The guy is also an apologist for the Scientology cult in their

Nor has he been willing to educate himself on the subjects of
Scientology and Scientology Inc.

I wonder how much money Scientology has funneled to this lying sack.

At a guess I would think Scientology Inc. has paid him
considerably more than the US$10,000 here reported from the Church
of God ("The Family"). Massimo Introvigne and his "CESNUR" is very
pro-Scientology, even going so far as to claim that the legitimate
Cult Awareness Network produced and distributed the
"Deprogrammer's Manual" that Scientology's OSA, under Mary Sue
Hubbard, created. Damned freaky, and sad, what some people will do
for money, no matter how much harm it causes, no matter how many
victims are deceived into ruin.
