How about this:
If you are interested please mail me back as I will be putting the
list together. Once I have enough interest I will arrange a team
meeting in thelunch area to run through things, but I need a
committed team first. Please think seriously if you want to take
part, we do need committment and need to know are prepared to play at
least half the season.
It is a message body for a message that was sent to me.
So name the person who wrote that then?

please explain why you understand your passage might give a clue to someones name
but "throw the whole thing down a well and pour in concrete" an actual reply to
me, part of my claim is IRRELEVANT?
