All I remember from Equus (we had special seats on stage that portrayed a
jury/forum) was Leonard Nemoy standing about 2 feet from me and I couldn't say
"hi", and some bare asses running around the stage at one point.

Apparently the actor who plays Harry Potter in the films
(none of which I've ever seen) announced that he's going
to star as the troubled stable boy in "Equus," live on
stage:

Personally, I can't see how he could top Peter Firth's... um...
we'll say "Performance"...
Personally, I don't see how he could top Peter Firth's performance
in the 1970s film version of the play. Coincidentally, Peter Firth was
a child star himself before demonstrating his... his... "talent" in
Equus.
In fact, if you're just old enough, this may freak you out (Realplayer

WARNING: if you're the right age, the above link really could
freak you out.
Anyhow, what surprised me the most about the announcement
that Harry Potter will be revealing his wand is the fact that he's
still only 17. Yes, I get it, he'll be 18 by the time the curtain
opens. That's not what I meant. What I meant was that I just
figured, by this stage of the game, he must be in his early 20s
by now.
Hasn't he been playing Harry Potter for like 10 years, or does
it only seem that long?
