Now, compare you standard of truth you demand of Clinton to the
standard you demand of Bush. President Bush quoted a British
Intelligence report which he had every reason to believe was true. He
sent Joe Wilson to investigate the situation. Even though his report
vindicated the President, Wilson told the New York Times that the
British Intelligence Report was wrong.
This is the most damning example of a Bush lie the left has produced.
He quoted from a report that he believed to be true and was later shown
to be true - but there was some time when the report was in doubt.
After three years of calling President Bush a "liar" on such a flimsy
evidence, don't you dare come to me with happy little phrases like
Clinton "... hedged the truth..."
Clinton lied. He has no one to blame but himself.

circumstances in Afghanistan remained more favorable than the Iraqi
alternative. The reports describe friendly contacts and indicate some
