Well, that leaves you out of the loop. The principal way overstepped
his authority in this, and has yet to provide a satisfactory
explanation for his abuse of the student's First Amendment rights.
The principal was obviously NOT thinking straight.

Actually, first amendment rights don't apply to minors in schools
apparently. I remember seeing some court cases about this, and there
was some debate going on, I think it was in Colorado, concerning a bill
to extend these rights to high school students.
