How long do you think it should take to train Iraqis to be in charge of
their own security? To have enough Iraqis trained, to take over so
that all of America's military can leave Iraq? Two months? Six
months? Six years?

Those are conflicting goals, letting the Americans go vs. Maintaining Iraqi
security.
