I believe that it would have been a cinch to quit it if I had known the
correct information about addictive substances and how to quit, yes.
I was ready to quit in October 1998. It's a pity that I was not taught how
to quit. ....
I can stop. anytime I like. that is the truth. because every single drug
user (addict) who gets it right to stop, does in fact do just that.
If it was impossible to stop, how would anyone ever achieve that?
Trust me, crack is psychologically addictive, so what you believe is
vitally
important to whether you are able to quit or stay trapped.
Who's job is it to teach you or anyone how to stop smoking crack,
especially since anyone can just stop any time at all?
they need to know HOW.
it's not easy to stop using a drug you are addicted to.
Except you'd just written how easy it is, in fact. Even that merely
wrongly believing it isn't easy is what makes it not easy. Especially
when it comes to a drug that isn't actually physically addictive.
it's important to
know what techniques are effective. and it's also important to realise that
each individual will have to adapt any program to their own specific needs.
Gosh, just why is all this so important, when they can simply just stop
doing it? Why on earth does anyone need any "program" as such to not
use a drug that isn't even physically addicting, much less fret about
crafting various "programs" in any certain ways to get them just right?
i don't believe that a one-size-fits-all approach applies to conquering drug
addiction.....
Well, obviously excepting your own prescription for approach here.
many people do realise, in fact, that they can stop using cocaine and suffer
no ill physical effects.
but then they later receive a message from their brains that they "need" it.
and many think that they need "just one more hit".
So? Bank robbers receive messages from their brains that they need to
do that, too.
