He supported Christianity in the same way the left in America supports
Christianity -- by marginalizing its effectiveness in order to destroy
it. The Neuremberg trials brought out quite a bit of evidence that
Christianity was next on Hitler's list of things to destroy:

Do you have some evidence for this rather bizarre notion that the left
in America wants to destroy christianity? By "marginalizing its
effectiveness" do you mean trying to keep Jeebus Moments out of the
lives of those who don't want them, and most especially public schools
and our government?

It is very simple if the people are ignorant religion is a much more
powerful tool to control them. If you fight ignorance you are going to
marginalize the effectiveness of religion.

So theists are complaining that religion can't hold its own in an
educated society? I guess anyone making that claim is too uneducated
to see that he's calling himself uneducated.

He hasn't. It's a paranoid lie used to unite the sheeple against a
common enemy - the rest of us who wouldn't care what they believed if
the practiced their religion among themselves without imposing it on
everybody else.
