That may be true of the governments of some Islamic countries, but it is
not true of our government.
In our system of government, the secular and the sacred are NOM, as Gould
would have said.

This is what puzzles me. They cannot see the parallels.
FWIW when I first heard the term "American Taleban" I thought they
meant these guys, not the Moslems captured in Afghanistan.
