Ventura had that comment about religion being a crutch for the weak minded,
but he got a lot of ***** for that. I think he even apologized. I doubt any
experienced politician would say anything even nearly as inflammatory.
But then Bush Sr had that comment about atheists not being
Americans....it was quite inflammatory, but to an invisible minority,
and it was ignored by the media.
