All that I can understand about it is this: if Chris was incompetent,
he should have been locked up.

I wouldn't be interested in helping someone who accused me of murder.
She seems every bit as unbalanced as her son was.

uses the old testament to back his beliefs. He's told us many times
we're
all DEAD anyway. You wouldn't believe some of the things this man has
posted in the past years.
I've *witnessed* the things this man has said over the past years.
That is what you have to understand. We all didn't get computers
yesterday; many of us have been around for a while and feel that your
constant harping on Jabriol is just as annoying as Jabbers himself is.

It isn't difficult at all. In much of the U.S. all it takes is one
family member and a medical professional (or cop) to get someone
locked up for 72 hours, at which point they have to go before a judge.
Copies of Chris' posts would have been sufficient evidence to commit
the guy.
If you had any experience with the mentally ill you'd know that the
most often heard complaint along these lines is that it is *too* easy
to lock someone up.
It's also very expensive and some insurance companies will not cover the
costs. I sounds like you disliked Chris and perhaps had some issues with
him and his posts.
Disliked? No. Pitied, yes. Like you, he was constantly beating dead
horses and posting every detail.

areas of the USA psychotherapy or any therapy for the
mentally/emotionally
ill is between $75 to $150 an hour - some places it's even more. Add
meds
to that. Some of these newer meds can run into a small fortune. The
support groups here on Usenet aren't the best places for support and I'll
agree with you there - but that may have been all this young man had.
Maybe it was all he or his family could afford (his net service bill).
Oh cry me a river. None of this serves to answer why you can't find
another hobby other than chasing Jabriol around and letting all of us
in on it.
