I just flew back from a week in the Bay Area (work + my girlfriend).
Picked up the cats this lunchtime. They were not happy, and haven't
been letting me out of their sight today. They're people too.

A friend of mine would occasionally leave his cat alone for a
weekend. He would leave the water dripping into a bowl in the
sink so she would have fresh water, leave access to the food
sack and a freshly cleaned litter box. Invariably, the night
that he returned, sometime after he'd go to bed she'd leave him
a nice, fresh little present right in front of the toilet. And
he'd invariably step in it, getting up to take a leak in the
dark. I'd say the cat was expressing her opinion rather
fluently. And so did he, I gather. :)
