"Restraint" in that Israel has the power to "burn down the house" so to
speak, in Lebanon in order to get the fleas infesting it. Israel
hasn't--she's using conventional means to get rid of the infestation
represented by Hezbollah.

Don't think for a minute that this isn't getting VERY close scrutiny
among Israel's enemies. Most of the Arab regimes have been strangely
very quiet in all this (150,000 American troops sitting next door in
Iraq has a lot to do with that, of course). Despite their continual
bluster and strutting, I think the LAST thing those belligerent Arab
leaders want is Israel's undivided attention--with America there
looking over Israel's shoulder.
