The Marine Corps for the second straight month in February missed its
goal for signing up new recruits, the Marines said on Wednesday, in

"It is a challenging recruiting environment right now," said Maj.
David Griesmer, spokesman for the Marine Corps Recruiting Command.
For the first time in more than a decade, the Marines in January fell
short of their monthly goal for new recruits signing enlistment
contracts to begin serving within a year.

I agree what the hell is Bush trying to prove.. A terrorist country,
Afghanistan, has fallen, Iraq had free elections, the Palestinian
government and Israel are talking, Lebanon wants free elections with
the help of the U.N and America, Syria has turned over Saddams
brother, Uh maybe to appease the United States, Libya has given up
it's plans for nuclear weapons, The United States , France and most of
Europe have told Syria to leave Lebanon, Bin Laden is hiding,
terrorist camps are hard to find now. I just imagine how much better
off the United States and the rest of the world would have been with
Kerry as president . What the HELL is Bush doing?.......
................. Maybe his job?

LOL - and Europe is ignoring Bush, Russia is ignoring him, Iraq is
filled with terrorists blooming, our military is in tatters, we are
beating our poor military members to death with lack of supplies, lack
of health care and lack of support, Libya was never a problem
(interesting that you think it was - propaganda carried you over) etc
etc etc...
I suspect that if a reasonable intellegent non-belligerent person had
taken the presidency we wouldn't be wasting our time and money on this
social security mess, our stature in the world would be mending, our
credit rating would be rising instead of plumenting as would the
dollar - Europe and Russia would be paying attention to our interests
instead of waving us away, the terrorists would not be overrunning
Iraq
etc, etc, etc.
It's just amazing how you neo-cons take bottom of the barrel outcomes
and go spastic over it. It could be so much better, but you wouldn't
get to be belligerent and swaggering to the world any more - you would
have to be (gasp) mature about things and you wouldn't get to pretend
you have control over the world which you certainly don't have now.
You would (oh my god, the pain) have to actually use diplomacy.
