His fame spread
everywhere throughout the whole region of Galilee.
Uh huh. But later on Christ condemns Capernaum to hell because they reject
him:
And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to
hell.
-- Luke 10:15
Looks like his "fame" was rather short-lived.
