By being kind and considerate. This last weekend I was involved with a
volunteer group working to deal with a horrible (painful, disfiguring,
deadly) genetic disorder. One of the women there, a delightful kind
hard working person, wore a cross around her neck. What did you do to
help humanity last weekend?

What an unchristian attitude of you. Seriously. That is in conflict with
everything I know of christanity.

Made sure my roommate, who is dying of brain cancer, was not left alone
in his hospital room until a staff volunteer was available. After
spending the day transporting him from the care center he was warehoused
in to the hospital, once a bed was available.

Then you have a selective knowledge. There is, at the very least, the
woman I mention below. And Dr. King. And others. Here is a big hint:
Christians are humans.

Good for you. I am very sorry for your roommate and for you. On the
chance that "roommate" is a euphemism, I am very, very sorry. It is
too hard to deal with.

I told you. Working with a volunteer group to work on

A good friend of mine died from that despite two brain operations to try
to save him. It was planned to have a fly-over in missing man formation
during his funeral but bad weather scrubbed that idea.
My condolances. :\
