I think the risk from fundie Christians is far higher in North America

Not necessarly. Some theists are casual in their belief.
By fanatic, what do you mean? Do you mean abortion clinic bombing and
sucide bombing fanatic? Few religious people are fanatic in that
sense.
Some religious people, however, are very devout. This devotion my seem
to fanaticism to some people, I guess.

Dividing it in 'violent' and 'non-violent' fanatics is an
oversimplification ?

....it seems that many, if not all atheist and non-believers, are
fanatical anti-religious hate mongers with the reasoning
capability and mentality of the KKK.

Generalise much?
It's a good thing that most x-ians I know are absolutely NOTHING like you.
They have tolerance, compassion, and open-mindedness. We atheists are not
all anti-religion, John. Actually, I don't know even one who *is*.
However, we sane human beings (religious or non) are anti-Lauzon, and
against other kooks like you. Where's your army of god-loving supporters in
the newsgroups, John? Why aren't they coming to your aid, backing up your
messages of intolerence? Oh, wait... I know. Many of them read what you
post, but they're all looking at you like you're in the corner of the room,
foaming at the mouth.
Now hurry up and accuse me of being a homosexual or an abortionist, then
shut the hell up.

Atheists dont teach hate, let alone from books with fairy tails.
KKK are religious fanatic people, they dont even come close to Athiesm.
They use bibles as a legal way to torment people.
p.s. Athiests means non-religious, whats the "non-believers" standing for?

How much "reasoning" ability does it take to cut'n paste

The KKK requires members to be Christian.

For a good discussion on the KKK in Canada, you should check out
can.politics. Some guy tried to point out how the Western provinces were
had the only KKK clavens in Canada and then someone with more insight
brought up the cross burnings in Oakville in the '30's and stuff in SW
Ontario.
Way too much info.
Being of Christian birth but not faith, I prefer to see religious zealots of
all kinds enjoy their happy lives within the confines of their respective
Churches, Synagogues and Mosques and leave the rest of us who don't accept
the supernatural to live in common sense and not fairy tales.
As Joey Ramone once said:
THE KKK TOOK MY BABY AWAY Lyrics
She went away for the holidays
Said she's going to LA
But she never got there
She never got there's
She never got there, they say
She went away for the holidays
Said she's going to LA
But she never got there
She never got there,
She never got there, they say
The KKK took my baby away
They took her away, away from me
The KKK took my baby away
They took her away, away from me
Now I don't know where my baby can be
They took her from me they took her from me
I don't know where my baby can be
They took her from me they took her from me
Ring me, ring me, ring me up the president
And find out where my baby went
Ring me, ring me, ring me up the FBI
And find out if my baby's alive, yeah, yeah, yeah
Ooo... ooo... ooo...
She went away for holidays
Said she's going to LA
But she never got there
She never got there's
She never got there, they say
She went away for holidays
Said she's going to LA
But she never got there
She never got there's
She never got there, they say
The KKK took my baby away
They took her away, away from me
The KKK took my baby away
They took her away, away from me
The KKK took my baby away
They took her away, away from me
The KKK took my baby away
They took my girl, they took my baby away
