This survey was mirrored on Sermo, a physician only discussion group.
By the way, how's that Sermo thing working out for you?
Worked out wonderfully.
Wrong tense, wrong answer, wrong of me to expect you not to dissemble
Without the LORD, your opinion is meaningless (Ecclesiastes).
GOD's work was done.
More than 35,000 doctors now know about the 2PD-OMER Approach being
bariatric surgery without the surgery:

More than 35,000 doctors followed you thread before you
were kicked off?
There are reportedly more than 35,000 physicians, who are subscribed
to Sermo.
Not my question. Again: all 35,000-plus doctors read the relevant posts?

Such is the power of a spectacle...
.... snarling traffic for hours because of the countless number of
folks who wish to see the spectacle with their own eyes rather than

Indeed, the crucifixion of LORD Jesus Christ was the greatest
spectacle of all time. To this day, nearly 2000 years later, everyone
on this planet has heard of HIM :-)

Hey, way to "timidly write"!!
Many thanks, much praise, and all the glory to GOD for HIS compelling
you to unwittingly amplify the light of the truth, Who is LORD Jesus
Christ, for everyone in the room.
Of course if I were Andrew, I'd at this point emit something
disingenuously literal about the dire medical implications of a poster's
thinking they perceive rooms and lights in a text-based medium.
But I'm more honest than that, and so I won't.

There are 35,000 registered users on Sermo per Sermo's statistics. Not
all of those doctors are active. There are several hundred new threads
posted each week. Not everyone reads each thread. There is no hit
count as to how many have read a thread. The poster of the thread can
also post a question or questions to poll the group. Some posters of
threads allow the general population to add questions, some do not.
That is referred to as "answering." There is a running hit count on
how many have voted or answered. We can also rate the posts, 1-5 stars
like here. There is also a running count of how many have rated the
post. One does not have to answer or vote to rate a post and visa
versa. People can also leave a comment without voting or rating.
So for example, some one might post:
"People eat too much. People need to lose VAT by sticking to the 2PD-
OMER Approach."
And the questions to vote on may be:
1) Hunger is wonderful
a) strongly agree, b) agree, c) agree, d) disagree
2) If you agree that hunger is wonderful, will you tell your patients
to use the 2PD-OMER Approach
a) yes b) no
People can leave comments to the poster such as, Gee HeartMD,PhD...you
claim empirical proof but all you do is link to your own websites and
press releases as proof. Are there any studies anywhere in peer
reviewed journals?
To which the original poster always answers in the same obtuse and
concrete way that he answers on UseNet groups causing the handful of
people who do read his posts to learn quickly that he is a delusional,
mentally ill man who may have once earned an MD PhD but has now
clearly lost touch with modern, evidence-based medical practice and
has no hospital privileges...which causes his threads to break down
into much ribbing and joking and off topic discussions such as goes on
in Usenet groups...which causes Andrew to start linking his convicts
pages and telling people that the Holy Spirit has caused him to write
this and we all don't understand and he has > 600,000 patients and an
unprecedented guarantee and Everest climbers yada, yada yada he was
deactivated from Sermo in about two weeks. People thought he was a
kook.
The thread about his deactivation entitled "Good Riddance" is rated
much higher than any of his contributions ever were. maybe 40 people
answer his posts in the voting section and 30-40 rate him (he averaged
1 1/2 out of 5 stars for his threads) . He would have 10 to 30
comments on his threads, usually more than half from him posting
inanities on the comments section of his own threads in order to bump
them up to the top again of the actively discussed thread list in his
attempts to gain attention when he was ignored.

Same old, same old, innit? But interesting to see that Andrew
is not chagrinned a whit by the fact that practicing
physicians had exactly the same reaction to him as
did the unwashed masses here on Usenet.
