If every printing press in the USA was shutdown, production of the
[Watchtower] magazine will not fall behind.
I guess this must mean that invisible Filipino spirit creatures, in all
probability like the ones whose voices the Watchtower's Golden Age
editor kept hearing, would carry the magazines 'down' directly from the
Pleiades (which the WT taught was Jehovah's private home), hot off the 0
degK press.
It would take some time, as even J-God (as the Jehovah's Witnesses have
been taught) cannot travel instantaneously (or tell the future, etc.).
And those pesky Demons [who] Infest the Earth's Atmosphere (title of top
turn-of-the-century Watchtower tract) might hold up the "delivery-

What Mushrooms are you on??????
Hello, I am Linda's Brain. ;o)
I apologize for the fact that Linda is so, so very dumb. ;o)
She parted company with me when the dubs-dubs started on her. ;o)
You see, Linda-the-dub signed up to the Jehovah's Witnesses cult WITHOUT
EVER RESEARCHING THE SORRY HISTORY OF THAT DYSFUNCTIONAL GROUP. ;o)
All the person who she is accusing of smoking magic mushrooms was doing
was accurately relating events from the history of the Watchtower. ;o)
A history so disgraceful that it is hidden from present day dubs. ;o)
I'll now show that all the material which Linda suggests is the result of
drug abuse is in fact WATCHTOWER TEACHINGS. ;o)
"The Pleiades"
For half a century the Watchtower taught that the constellation of the
Pleiades (constellations are actually imaginary groups, as stars in them
simply lie in the same line of sight from earth and may not be anywhere
close to each other - the Watchtower was too scientifically ignorant to
understand this) was the specific location of heaven and the throne of God
was in Alcyone, the principal star there. Good JWs could expect to go to
the Pleaides. Here are a few quotes from Watchtower literature as proof:
"A Draconis is no less a symbol of sin and Satan than Pleiades is a symbol
of God and the center of the universe. The Great Pyramid thus indicates
that its Architect knew of the prevalence of evil and of its domination
over the downward course of mankind, and indicates also what lies beyond
all human sight - that the only hope for the race is in Jehovah.. Alcyone,
the central one of the renowned Pleiadic stars.. Alcyone, then, as far as
science has been able to perceive, would seem to be 'the midnight throne'
in which the whole system of gravitation has its seat, and from which the
Almighty governs his universe. And here is the wonderful corresponding
fact, that at the date of the Great Pyramid's building, at midnight of the
autumnal equinox, and hence the true beginning of the year* as still
preserved in the traditions of many nations, the Pleiades were distributed
over the meridian of this Pyramid, with Alcyone (A Tauri) precisely on the
line. Here, then, is a pointing of the highest and sublimest character that
mere human science has ever been able so much as to hint, and which would
seem to breathe an unsuspected and mighty meaning into that speech of God
to Job, when he demanded, 'Canst thou bind the sweet influences of
Pleiades?' *The beginning of the Jewish year, introduced by the Day of
Atonement, as shown in Scripture Studies, Vol. II."
- 1891-1916 'Thy Kingdom Come' pp321, 327-8
"Our solar system of planets is also found to be revolving together around
some other great center; and far beyond the farthest limits of our system,
by the aid of the telescope, other suns and systems are discerned, all
presumably revolving with ours around some common center - the group
Pleiades. And the reasonable suggestion has been made that that center may
be the heaven of heavens, the highest heaven, the throne of God."
- 1895 Watchtower May 15 p121
"The most reasonable suggestion we know of is that offered in Millennial
Dawn, Vol. III, page 327; namely, that heaven is located in or in
connection with the heavenly group, Pleiades. In evidence that heaven is a
place and at a distance from the earth, and that it requires time to go and
come, notice the fact that our Lord said that he would 'go away' and 'come
again.' This could not be true if to go to heaven means merely a change
from human conditions to spiritual conditions, because he will never come
again to human conditions. He took upon him the form of a servant, and was
made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death. that he by
the grace of God should taste death for every man. ('Heb. 2:9'.) He has
finished that work and has no further use for the body of humiliation and
has been glorified; and is the express image of the Father's person. Again
our Lord says in the parable that the Nobleman went away to a far country.
-'Luke 19:12'. Again we are informed that the holy Spirit was not yet
given, because Jesus was not yet glorified ('John 7:39'), indicating that
as soon as Jesus would be glorified the holy Spirit would be given to the
waiting Church. And we know that from the time our Lord ascended up on high
until the descent of the holy Spirit was ten days."
- 1896 Watchtower Dec 1 p291
"Furthermore, Science declares that there is a far mightier Center, around
which these countless millions of suns revolve, accompanied by their
planets and satellites. This great Center seems to be associated with the
Pleiades, particularly with Alcyone, the central star of this renowned
group. For this reason the suggestion has been made that the Pleiades may
represent the Residence of Jehovah, the place from which He governs the
Universe. This thought gives new force to the question which the Almighty
asked the patriarch Job: 'Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades,
or loose the bands of Orion? Canst thou bring forth the constellations of
the Zodiac in their season?' - 'Job 38:31,32'. There seem to be fewer stars
in the North than in any other part of the heavens. Thus the North seems to
have been given a very prominent position, the other points of the compass
giving it homage, as it were. This fact was observed by the ancients, as
the Prophet Job declares - 'He stretcheth out the North over the empty
space, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.' ('Job 26:7'.) Throughout the
Scriptures the North seems to be closely associated with Jehovah's
government of the earth."
- 1915 Watchtower Jun 15 p185
"Some one asked me the other day: Suppose you should be here in 1925 what
would you do? I said, I believe I will be home in the Pleiades before then"
- 1920 Watchtower Nov 1 p334
"the position of the Pleiades at the time of the completion of the Great
Pyramid of Egypt, 'God's Stone Witness,' is a very prominent feature of
that building in the midst of the land of Egypt. For these and other
reasons Bible Students have good cause to believe that in the region of the
Pleiades is located the throne of Jehovah.. If somewhere in the space among
the Pleiades is the throne of God, then this group is worthy of our most
reverent study."
- 1924 The Golden Age Sep 10 pp793-4
"The face of the deep, of course, would be toward the Pleiades, which are
claimed to be the habitation of Jehovah."
- 1927 etc. 'Creation' p94
"The Bible seems to show that God's throne in heaven is in what we call the
north, very likely near the stars called the Pleiades (Job. 38:31)"
- 1928 The Golden Age May 16 p540
"The constellation of the seven stars forming the Pleides appears to be the
crowning center around which the known systems of the planets revolve even
as our sun's planets obey the sun and travel in their respective orbits. It
has been suggested, and with much weight, that one of the stars of that
group is the dwelling-place of Jehovah and the place of the highest
heavens; that it is the place to which the inspired writer referred when he
said: 'Hear thou from thy dwellingplace, even from heaven' (2 Chron. 6:21);
and that it is the place to which Job referred when under inspriation he
wrote: 'Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the
bands of Orion?' -Job 38:31. The constellation of the Pleiades is a small
one compared with others which scientific instruments disclose to the
wondering eyes of man. But the greatness in size of other stars or planets
is small when compared with the Pleiades in importance, because the
Pleiades is the place of the eternal throne of God."
- 1928 etc. 'Reconciliation' p14
"The use of invisible spirit creatures to relay Watchtower truths"
"Surely the holy angels Jehovah God, who are under the command of Christ
Jesus and accompany him at his temple as his deputies, are clothed with
power to put questions in the minds of those on earth who are devoted to
God. It is not necessary for us to know just how this is done, but their
can be no doubt about the power of the deputies of the Lord.. The Lord used
The Watch Tower to announce these truths. Doubtless he used his invisible
deputies to have much to do with it. This is not what some may regard as
spiritism, by any means; but it does mean that God can direct his people
without any audible communication with them."
- 1930 'Light Vol I' pp61-4, repeated in 1938 Watchtower May 15 pp157-8
Similar in 1935 Watchtower Feb 15 p54, 1935 Yearbook Nov 22, 1937
Watchtower Nov 1 p326, 1938 Yearbook Feb 15, etc.
I could give hundreds of examples of similar claims by the Watchtower.
"The Philippine Connection"
The Watchtower feared that its ruthless use of unpaid (slave) labor at its
printing presses in Brooklyn Bethel would ultimately provoke governmental
intervention, so it quietly developed extremely powerful presses right the
other side of the world, in the Philippines, where there were no tough
labor laws and no worker's rights under the dictator Marcos. Hence the
reference to Filipinos. Unknown to many JWs, what they read has been
printed by the sweat of the WT's slave laborers in the Philippines.
"The Editor of the Watchtower's #2 magazine admits Demon-Possession"
"I WISH to speak to you of something that I certainly never intended
mentioning at this convention. I presume you have all taken the vow, but
perhaps some of you have not.. I did not accept the Vow at first .. would
not .. unless I found it in Scripture.. Then began my troubles. I began to
pray and to fight it in my own way with the Scriptures. After a few months
the Scriptures apparently began to open up.. demonstrating its
unscripturalness. I thought that .. Brother Russell was wrong. After
corresponding with Russell on the issue he said his non-acceptance of the
vow led him to eventual demon possession and even automatic writing: There
was a time for five consecutive nights when I never slept a wink; then came
a time when the strain was too much; my mind became unbalanced, and I came
directly under the influence of evil spirits, so much so that for three
days I was as completely under demonical control as was Mrs. Eddy when she
wrote 'Science and Health.' Previous to this time I had prepared a 36-page
book against the Vow, printed in double column, in which all scriptures
which seemed to be directly or indirectly against the Vow were arranged. I
know now that all these Scriptures were suggested to my mind by the evil
spirits. One of the suggestions was.. (and this I believe was a truth, for
these 'lying spirits' do sometimes tell the truth) that in the fifteenth
chapter of Numbers where it mentions the 'Ribband of blue,' it had
reference, anti-typically, to the Vow. But then these lying spirits turned
the truth into a lie by claiming that the Vow had been suggested to Brother
Russell by the evil spirits. See how clever they were!.. Russell pointed
out a mistake in my book .. I took burned all the copies.. Until this time
I had never settled in my own mind that Brother Russell was 'That
Servant.'.. I never settled the matter until I yielded and took the Vow
which he advised all the Lord's saints to take.. I firmly believe that this
'ribband in blue' is the Vow and inspired of God"
- 1913 Souvenir Notes of the Bible Students' Conventions, Asheville NC
pp274-5
Note the "I" here refers to Clayton J. Woodworth, to be editor of the
Watchtower's The Golden Age and Consolation (predecessor magazines to
Awake!) from 1919 to 1946. Only a couple of years after this confession of
hearing voices, demon-possession and so on, Woodworth went on to write the
commentary on Revelation on pp126-7 of 'The Finished Mystery' (a 1917
Watchtower publication):
"Have you enjoyed this work so far? Are you convinced it is of the Lord -
prepared under His guidance? Have you carefully and prayerfully read the
comments on Rev. 7:1? Then brace yourself for the truth that it is
evidently God's purpose soon to allow the minds of many of His little ones
to become an open battleground, upon which the fallen angels shall be
judged, and the manner in which we meet the tests will prove our worthiness
of crowns at the same time that it proves these disobedient spirits
unworthy of life on any plane. This is something with which some but not
many are yet familiar.. without actual experience it is quite impossible to
conceive of the intensity of such struggles.. The base of the brain is
seized as in a vise. Interpretations of Scripture, ingenious, but
misleading beyond description, are projected into the mind as water might
be projected through a hose. Visions may be tried, wonderful illuminations
of the mind as by a soft but glorious greenish or yellowish haze. Seductive
suggestions may be made, based on circumstances of the environment. Offers
of inspiration may be made. The privilege of sleep may be taken away for
days at a stretch. All this with the object of forcing the unfortunate into
at least a temporary insanity.. the mind may be flooded with thoughts that
are vile beyond description. THEN REMEMBER THE VOW."
"Demons Infest Earth's Atmosphere"
This was the title of a 1919 tract by the Watchtower. The booklet taught
that demons surrounded the earth, hiding in the clouds. This sort of
nonsense went on for decades:
"Man on earth can no more get rid of these demonic 'heavens' (the
organization of wicked spirits) than man can by airplane or rockets or
other means get up above the air envelope which is about our earthly globe
and in which man breathes."
- 1943 'The Truth Shall Make You Free' p285
When Yuri Gagarin was rocketed "above the air envelope" less than 20 years
after the Watchtower wrote this nonsense, Brooklyn quietly dropped the
claim.
"The limitations of Jehovah-of-the-Watchtower"
That God takes time to travel to earth from heaven is just one of the many
limitations the JWs have placed on their mythical deity,
Jehovah-of-the-Watchtower. He isn't omnipresent (as follows from the
above). Also, he can't or won't (the teaching flip-flops) read the future.
And best of all:
"God wears clothes"
- 1926 The Golden Age May 19 p534
"The 0 degK press"
Jehovah's Witnesses have been repeatedly proven by independent studies of
education levels to have the lowest levels of education of any religious
grouping - BY FAR! Once, at a U.S. Watchtower convention of 50,000 JWs,
there was a call for a doctor, and not ONE could be found in the entire
stadium..
So it is unsurprising that JW Linda does not understand the "0 degK press"
reference. A printing press in the near perfect vacuum of outer space,
light years from any source of emr, would have a temperature just a few
hundredths of a degree centigrade above absolute zero (which lies at about
-273.15 degrees Centigrade, or 0 degrees Kelvin).
So, JW Linda wrote to a poster:
What Mushrooms are you on??????
BUT I have shown above that the poster was merely regurgitating what the
Watchtower itself has taught!
HOW SHOCKINGLY IGNORANT JW LINDA IS OF HER OWN ORGANIZATION'S HISTORY
AND PAST TEACHINGS....
TEACHINGS WHICH THEY REGULARLY EXCOMMUNICATED PEOPLE FOR QUESTIONING!
What a clever girl is JW Linda! ;o)
Of course, the Watchtower specializes in erasing its own history, reversing
its teachings - but then sometimes reintroducing them. On some matters,
there have been as many as half-a-dozen to-and-fro flip-flops (will the men
of Sodom and Gomorrah be resurrected? must a woman physically resist a
rapist if she is to avoid being guilty of fornication?)..
Go on, Jehovah's Witness LINDA - live in your cuckoo land. Tell your elders
you accused the Watchtower writers of drug abuse (over sixty years of it,
too) when they were writing their material. ;o)
What Mushrooms are you on??????
If you looked where you were going, you wouldn't have jumped into the
Looney Bin, Linda...
