In the 1980's our medical plan introduced the concept of co-pay. It
was only a dollar for each prescription. Easy sugar coated expense to
swallow. I knew right away that the purpose was to condition the plan
members to reach into their pockets. I was largely ignored, sometimes
rebuked.
Well, 25~yr's later, it's $15 for a doctor, $25 specialist, and $50
emergency. My eyedrop co pay is $25.00. All others are at least $5.00
and the best, Viagra, isn't covered, and it's $15.00 per dose. Talk
about paying for sex! And people still don't believe me.
Whatever spell they're under is a lulu.
Can you help me figure out what it is and how to break it? I feel I
owe something to the forcefully cloistered and this is one angle I'm
exploring.
Thanks in advance.

You cannot. People are basically stupid.
Once they get stupid they are stupid for
life. I see this all the time.
Just because it's impossible doesn't mean we can't do it.
There must be plenty of ways, we just have to find and try them, think
of the alternative: a disease that is already epidemic and is on a
terrific upsurge.
