Yes, the inviolable principle they were defending yesterday apparently turned
out to be quite violable. Of course it would help if they knew what the *****
they were talking about. They claimed that National Defense Advisors had never
been compelled to testify before congress but (1) The 9-11 commission is not
congress (2) Sandy Berger and Zbignew Brzenski (who cares how it's spelled) both
have testified and (3) Condi wasn't being compelled to testify, but rather being
asked to do so voluntarily.
Ah, quib, still up to half truths.
The national defense advisors have never been required to testify before
Congress on national defense issues. What the other two did was testify before
Congress on other matters, but not their speciality.
In this case, Condi is testifying directly in her area of expertise.
Shame shame on you.
investigating the September 2001 attacks. President George
Bush and his deputy, ***** Cheney, will also jointly appear
in a closed-door session.
Yep. That's total *****. It appears that Bush wants someone to keep him
from putting his foot in his mouth. Bush is such a fucking little *****.
Way to go, President George Bush.
