London I work mostly from home in a tiny room in our flat in London
with a wonderful view over a reservoir. At home I can slip in and out
of thinking of maths and doing other things. I often listen to music
while my subconscious carries on working. I also get to take my son to
and from school. My partner is working full time so I have the fun of
looking after Tomer, who is five. We go to school on our makeshift
tandem - my bike with a tag-along attached to the back.

On 'Nova,' 'Secrets' Only Hinted At

"This is a book that could have changed the history of the world,"
declares a serious voice, thereby dropping a rather heavy burden on
the lumpy, shriveled tome we see in close-up. The book in question is
"The Method," a collection of 2,200-year-old math treatises by the
Greek genius Archimedes. Its journey, which ultimately led to
Baltimore's Walters Art Museum, is the subject of "Infinite Secrets,"
the season opener of PBS's "Nova" series, airing tonight at 8 on
Channel 26.
