Yeah...forget about education and provision. Do you know what the main
reason is that they fail? The idiots reuse them.
Secondly, not using condoms at all can be more effective in preventing
pregnancies and avoiding STDs than using condoms if the people who are
not using the condoms are also abstaining from having sex. Abstinence
is the best form of protection against STDs and unwanted pregnancies.
Great. I'm sure all three people in the history oif the world that were
abstinent will be glad to hear that. The rest of us will nominate you for
the Mr. Obvious Award.
All of this debate by people who are pro-condom use and pro-choice on
the abortion issue comes down to one thing: they can't imagine guys
keeping their peckers in their pants, treating the woman with a
modicum of respect and waiting until they're married to have sex.
It's a matter of nature and history. Sure there are a few people, saints
like you, who can keep "their peckers in their pants". Just don't expect
that everyone is like you.
I'm curious about the "treating the woman with a modicum of
respect" bit. In my experience, the women are as eager --
at least -- as the boys are. It seems a bit ....well, disresepctful,
not to allow the idea that the woman may be every bit as
interested in getting it on as the guy is. And I wonder
if I don't possibly catch a whiff of the bad old "fallen
woman" attitude?
