Please join me in prayer.

you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
Dear Lord,
Please forgive me for my sins. Bless me and purify me.
In order to be forgiven, you must confess your sins and repent of
them,
Jason.
Jason, in my haste to get this posted, as I have other chores today, I
forgot to mention one other observation.
In your supposedly christian zeal to pray for Don's soul, which is what
you WANT people to think, isn't it interesting that the FIRST thing you
do is ask God to forgive YOU and to bless YOU?
NOT Don.
So even in a prayer for others as you so piously enter into the groups,
we still get clues that, really, it's all about YOU.

It's quite correct when entering the throneroom of God in prayer, first to
bear in mind one's own inadequacy and need of forgiveness and blessing prior
to interceding for others.
Reference please Psalm 52 from your own religion, where David the psalmist
first repents of his own sins in the matter of Uriah the Hittite, then asks
to "hear joy and gladness, that the bones which thou hast broken may
rejoice", only then, when he has dealt with his own state before El-Shaddai,
does he say "then will I teach transgressors thy ways, and sinners shall be
converted to thee".
It's a bit like in the aircraft where the safety instruction is for adults
to put oxygen masks on themselves first, and then on the children. You may
say what kind of mother would save herself before her children, but if her's
isn't on she may never get to put the other mask on the child.
Best,
Uncle Davey
