Oddly enough, this one isn't showing up on Google. I had to reply to
him through you.
Second, why is Gasbag praying for a Reverend? Supposedly a reverend
believes in Jesus, unless Gasbag thinks that anyone who disagrees with
Gasbag *MUST* disagree with Jesus, even a reverend.
Third, I still don't join people in black magick rituals.

Actually, I think anyone can just buy a certificate or license or
whatever to become a pastor or minister or reverend or whatever.
I think it takes actual work to become a Catholic Priest, though.

Mr Klein,
Now that was worth a good laugh.
I've been wondering why Jason is making all these public prayers, too.
It kind of goes against what Jesus taught below. I don't think that
Jason is trying to be like the religious hypocrytes of Christ's time.
I think he is trying to get responses from people that would not
otherwise respond so that he can invite them to his web site. Either
that or he is trying to ***** off the atheists and agnostics.
Matthew 6:1
Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them:
otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 6:2
Therefore when thou doest [thine] alms, do not sound a trumpet before
thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that
they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their
reward.
Matthew 6:3
But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right
hand doeth:
Matthew 6:4
That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret
himself shall reward thee openly.
Matthew 6:5
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites [are]: for
they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the
streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They
have their reward.
Matthew 6:6
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast
shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father
which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
Matthew 6:7
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen [do]: for
they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Matthew 6:8
Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what
things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
You mean ole atheists ought not to be so mean to poor Jason :)
Just kidding.

You have your interpretation of your bible, Jason has his. Is Jesus
correct? Is Paul correct? Is neither one correct? Who's to say?

Not this reverend.
And gee, I'm so not touched by this useless waste of DNA prayers.
Good thing he hides out in a news group not carried by a majority of
servers.
Shows his cowardice for exactly what it is.

He starts them off in alt.religion along with about a dozen other religious
newsgroups such as alt.religion.christian and alt.bible. I subscribed to
alt.religion after he "prayed' for me and check it out every once in a
while. If I see that he's doing another one of his pray for an atheist
nonsense, I send it back here so the atheist in question will know about it.
