Preparing for the Sunday Law Crisis
The Sunday party is strengthening itself in its false claims, and this will
mean oppression to those who determine to keep the Sabbath of the Lord. We
are to place ourselves where we can carry out the Sabbath commandment in its
fullness. "Six days shalt thou labor," the Lord declares, "and do all thy
work; but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou
shalt not do any work." And we are to be careful not to place ourselves
where it will be hard for ourselves and our children to keep the Sabbath.
Is the Sunday Law still an issue? I received a booklet back in 2002
that focused on the Sunday Law, and how it played a part in
Revelation, but I've never really heard anything more on the Sunday
Law since. It must be a really well-kept secret since the ACLU has
yet to howl about it.
Prayer For Sunday: The Day Of Resurrection:
God has given man the victory over sin and death through the
Resurrection of his Son. Let us pray to him, saying: Grant us the
gift of eternal life.
Lord God, we come to church today with open hearts; fill us with your
life-giving grace by making Jesus present to us in your Word, in the
Eucharist and in one another. Grant us the gift of eternal life.
Jesus rose from the dead only after accepting his suffering and death;
grant us this resignation of spirit, that we might die to self in
order to live in Christ. Grant us the gift of eternal life.
Through his Resurrection, Jesus brought us the gift of the spirit;
grant that by the Spirit we may be brought to a life of peace and
love. Grant us the gift of eternal life.
Through the Resurrection of Christ may all the faithful departed come
to the joys of everlasting life. Grant us the gift of eternal life.
Lord, come to the help of your family which has received from you the
grace of faith, and grant us a share in the risen life of your Son,
who lives and reigns with you forever. Amen.
