Belief in the supernatural is not rational and so cannot be discussed in
a rational way except to say that we see no evidence for it.
Generally ID is connected to
religion and this perception creates confusion in rational minds.
ID is religion thinly disguised for legal reasons. Since the US courts
ruled against the teaching of creationism in public schools, the
creationists put a Halloween mask on their god, threw a white coat on
him, wrote 'Intelligent Designer' on the back, and then pointed and
said: "Look, courts! Not religion!".
