Atheist, obviously.

If so, it's about as significant a thing to point out as it would
be to say a person is Baptist, Caucasian, or right-handed.

Bzzzzzzzzzzzzt...WRONG.

Atheists Hated More than Gays, Muslims, Baptist, Caucasian, or
right-handed people.

"Atheists are hated more than any other group in America and a
recent survey conducted by the University of Minnesota has provided
new evidence of it. According to most of those surveyed, atheists fall
below Muslims, gays, and every other minority group when it comes to
"sharing their vision of American society.""

I don't doubt that at all. I admit my atheism only to family
and close friends (and to everyone here on usenet, of course).

If I were an atheist, I wouldn't hesitate to let anyone
know it, if they asked. Hell, the klutzy RRR Cultists (PSEUDO-
Christians) who see my bumper stickers that support personal
liberties probably think I am. (Yeah. they're THAT dumb!) And
I' have *never* been harassed over those.
I can't imagine that people could be STUPID enough to care
one way or another what another person's religious beliefs
consist of. It couldn't get any more idiotic than that!
And even if they did, I'd just consider the source and laugh
in their faces.
Just as a fun experiment, I could openly pretend to be an
atheist for awhile. And would probably have a go at that,
except that Jesus takes a dim view of His followers denying
Him, and He'd probably categorize my experiment in that
manner.

God is not people. He cares about what people do with their
beliefs (not just religious,
the Bible is not a religion, per se, one can read the Bible and
believe without claiming
a religion, for Christ tells believers that He allows people to go
beyond the Law of Moses,
that is where Salvation exists, not living to just die obeying Law
of Moses.

Bad move ONLY if Jesus took it the wrong way. Otherwise,
it could comprise an interesting sociological study. I'm betting
that almost NO one would give a rat's ***** whether I were an
atheist or anything else. That wouldn't be a "silly" thing to
find out. Since it would be very interesting if that level of
sensibility and intelligence on the part of most people could
be VERIFIED.
I'd love to see a good, solid, peer-reviewed study done of
that!

America is definitely the country where everyone tells everyone
else what do but
they themselves don't want to be told what to do.
However, I was only trying to reach out and point out that the
Bible
recommends celibacy on the part of homosexuals. At alll times.
However,
heterosexuals can practice sex appropriately within marriage. No
homosexual
sex is appropriate and will never be, according to God's Word, no
marriage
between two same-sex persons is acceptable by God (and Jesus).
Take care.

No, that would be what some people believe is the word of some god.

According to the unsuported beliefs of some people. Perhaps those
people should obey those rules and leave others alone.

now?

Boswell found records of same-sex unions in such diverse archives as
those in the Vatican, in St Petersburg, in Paris, Istanbul, and in
Sinai, covering a period from the 8th to the 18th centuries. Nor is he
the first to make such a discovery. The Dominican Jacques Goar
(1601-1653) includes such ceremonies in a printed collection of Greek
prayer books.

Do you believe in God, Tulle?

Do you mean that guy in the Bible? No. One just needs to read that
book, and see that he is evil, and when added to what we know about
nature and the cosmos, he would also be incompetent. Now if you want to
think of whatever caused the beginning event of the cosmos and you
believe that the dimensions existed before that. Then it is possible,
but it makes no more sense than believing M theory. With M theory God
would be just the collection of branes running into each other.
Well that's it for me today. I'm taking the kids to Animal Kingdom, to

Yeah. Sounds cool. :)

More so than most people could ever imagine!

Him, and He'd probably categorize my experiment in that
manner.

My business would no doubt suffer, Craig, if I were openly
vocal about my (lack of) beliefs. I could relocate, but I've been
all over the US and it seems I get along better with folks in the
Bible Belt than anywhere else. So, I'm fixin' to just stay here
and keep my mouth shut. I am, after all a fundy xian -- but
I'm a fundy xian *atheist*. >:)

Ah, yes. Business. I can see how being in business could
cause a person to be more cautious about expressing his/her
views.

That's one of the perks about being a book publisher. In
THAT business I can express any views I want, with impunity,
and never have a shortage of customers. One of those "best
of all possible worlds" scenarios! :)

Craig "Squirrely Boy" Chilton publishes "Tijuana Bibles."
http://tijuanabibles.org/. He sells them at the local junior high
school.
