Why would the Muslims complain about the crusades?
After all, they WON.

Millions of innocent people slaughtered at the hands of Christians
might not be considered "winning."

There was a lot of slaughtering on
both sides. The irony of Bush calling
his military adventures "crusades" is
not lost on the locals.

However in a real sense the muslims brought the crusades
on themselves by seeking to build an empire that included
Spain, France, Italy, Constantinople, and so on.
Empires will always be resisted, especially muslim empires.
