Let me guess, you don't have a PhD.

It has been true since Nixon ran the Viet Nam war and pushed the southern
strategy that brought in so many anti-intellectual racist southerners. He
also eliminated to position of Presidential Science Advisor. Bush senior
tried to bring them back into the Presidential office, but this was part of
the reason the conserviatives rejected him in 1992 and didn't turn out to
vote.

Currently the Republican support of the anti evolution people and Bushes
decision to ban funding of stem cell research without talking seriously to
any scientists has kept Scientists from having much interest in voting
Republican. This is the most anti-science administration since the 19th
century.

And as a member of AAAS, I can tell you that many PhD's find GOP's

Instead people like you accept 'real' science such as creationism,
faith-healing, and that the universe is less than 10,000 years old.

Creationism is no less scientific than evolution; neither can be observed
because they occured in the past.
Faith healing is only accepted by a few cults in Christianity. Why do you
talk about stuff that only a select few believe in. A few liberals are
communists. Does that make all liberals communists?

Republicans are don't buy into global warming, ozone deterioration,
overpopulation, etc, also know as pseudo-science.

But it is not pseudoscience. The right simply is science ignorant and
they have made it an ideological shibboleth.

Overpopulation is a myth. Much of the world's land surface is empty, and
many countries with dense populations have a higher standard of living
than less crowded countries. Global warming is a myth. One large volcanic
eruption puts out more polutants than all humans do in one year. Ozone
deteriation is a myth. The ozone hole that appeared over Antarctica and
caused all the panic is a natural and annual phenomena. The annual ozone
hole was first measured in 1956-57, long before the ozonedestroying CFCs
were in common use. The hole appears at the end of the dark, cold
Antarctic winter, lasts about three to five weeks, and then disappears.
There is no overall or permanent depletion of the ozone layer..
More scare tactics to give liberal environmentalists what they want.

Its all about as reasonable as anti-flouride campaigns and using prayer
instead of anti-biotics. Snake handler stuff. Creationsim.

You are talking about a extremely small minority (less than 1%). Because
few liberals want the government to control all industry, does that make
all liberals communists?

So you're saying we should allow human pollution to happen once every

There are hundreds of volcanic eruptions every year. Equivilent to many large
eruptions.

This is because we keep treating the sea like we can endlessly use it
for hunter/gatherer type activities. Imagine if we tried to feed the
world of six billion people by just hunting and gathering nuts and roots
on the land. Pretty silly. That's how we treat our oceans.

No, how about Hong Kong or Manhattan?

Was Mt. St. Helens a large eruption? I thought it was. If it was, large
eruptions happen every few years, not only every hundred.

Liberals have to scare people into voting for them by proposing absurd
ideas such that Republicans are going to take away civil rights to get
minorities to vote for them. Or they will say if you don't vote Democrat
the Republicas will take away social security and all the old people will
starve. Of course both of these scenarios touted by democrats are complete
lies designed to scare people away from Republicans.
