And how many South Africans are fighting (figuratively, of course) to

The premier of North Korea could visit here and we wouldn't be demanding

Yes.. that's just what Amnesty International said...
"Asylum-seekers were at risk of arbitrary arrest or deportation
because of officials’ corrupt practices at refugee reception centres and
borders, which obstructed, delayed or denied their access to
determination procedures. Human rights lawyers and organizations
expressed concern, particularly at the discriminatory treatment of
Zimbabwean asylum-seekers."
Turning people back indeed.

But South Africa has a better Constitution, more rights and greater
freedom for its people.

The United States offers more flavours of ice-cream and more
opportunities to get rich. However, not everyone gets rich. There are
more destitute people in America than there are in South Africa.

10% of SA's population lives in extreme poverty, on less than 1 US
dollar a day.

and South Africa isn't just saying, "***** the poor", it is doing things
to alleviate their grinding poverty, like building them free housing.

Black people in South Africa are treated like human beings, unlike in
the United States.

Amnesty International says that an increasing number of black South
Africans have no access to basic services, due at least in part to the
actions of the government.
It also says that black refugees and immigrants face much more
discrimination and corruption.

Our economy is growing steadily, at a greater rate than our population
expansion rate. GDP is up. Exports are up. So are imports.

And unemployment is still described as "massive".

Most importantly, South Africa's citizens do not live in fear of
imminent attack. We have no enemies. To my knowledge, I don't think
there is a single nation that we have strained relations with.

No? According to Amnesty International SA had 52,759 reported rapes
for 2004, the last year they have stats for... Holding steady, since the
number was 52,975 in the year 2000. And since so many of those victims
were subject to problems stemming from the rape, it is a sure bet that
there is a very low rate of reporting.
I'd say with a rape rate that high, many many of SA's citizens live
in fear of imminent attack.
Given a 47% increase in complaints of serious criminal offenses by
the police, I'd say women aren't the only ones living in fear. 35%
increase of deaths at the hands of the police? Torture is frequently
alleged?
Well, that was fun - shall we play some more?

People in the states can get a job without a good education.
There are free literacy programs and training for job skills help with
getting them employment. If a person stays on the job, they will
eventually move up in that job until they are gainfully employed.
The new minimum wage is a big help too, especially for people who work for
large chains because they do offer regular promotions.
NICE clothes, like new, are readily available.
All a person has to do is ask.
Free beauty treatments as well... hair, skin, nails, etc.
If a person wants to work and have a roof over their head, it's available
here.

Now you've lost your grip- Americans don't have plans or schedules

neighbor too if he's around...let's see, where's my Ruger 9mm...
now I remember, Billy got arrested last week for taking it to school...
I hate to use the Remington .41, the ammo costs too much, but you
gotta do what you gotta do...hey, who left the bag of Fritos in the
gun locker???... I wonder if that new medication, what did they call
it, "Damitol" or something, they got the little woman on is doing
any good...oh well, a bag of Fritos sounds pretty good about now,
the Doctor told me I need to watch my diet and stay away from the
hamburgers...what the *****??? Hey you kids get away from the pick-
up! I'll drill you a new ***** if I see you playing there again!!!
where's that phone...howdy Bill, you want to grab a few cold ones
as soon as I get done shooting that new neighbor's dog??? sure, I
can stop by there, naw, I understand about your boy wrecking your
Trans Am and the wife needing the Camaro to go to church..."

That is the situation with America today. You have a low quality

Except that we do think (not recognize - that implies absolute morals,

We retain the death penalty because the Christian Bible backs it.

As an American, I realise that you cannot recognise morality when you
