And yet, what damage is done by allowing people of the same sex the
same rights as "traditional" couples?
What about two stupid asses like Briteny Spears and that kid that got
married for like 2 hours? What does THAT say about the "institution
of marriage?
What do you care whether your next door neighbors are two gay people
or two gay married people? They're still people. And they probably
keep the house better looking than others on the block.
All these arguments are the same ones that were used to try and keep
whites and blacks from marrying.
And the judges that shot that crap down then (and I'mn proud to say
that first happened in my great home state of California) were called
"activist" then, although in different terms, but the meaning was the
same.
There is no "separate but equal".

Westerberg has been known to show up a little drunk at times, and he
is one of the greatest living American song writers. Not sure if that
counts..

Tebaldi, Martina Arroyo, Rosemary Clooney, "The Patti's" (LaBelle,
LuPone, and Andrews), Joel Grey, Bernadette Peters, and Betty Buckl;ey
(when she still had a voice).
But she ranks up there, if you say so.
Of course, in my 2 decades being out, I have yet to meet even one gay
man who even owns a Judy Garland record, despite having a master's
degree in musicology.....

history.
