Is anyone planning to drop by the textbook hearings in Austin on
September 10? I'm sure there are a few Texans in these groups.
How poetic! Discussing the possibility of stopping one indefensibly stupid
theistic act the day before the anniversary of another indefensibly stupid
theistic act.
The Texas Freedom Network is going to speak out against putting
intelligent design in textbooks, and there will also be a largish
contigent of members from the Atheist Community of Austin.
If you want to speak for three minutes, the deadline to register is
Thursday, August 21.

Sadly, those who most need to understand this bitter irony are precisely the
ones who are emotionally and intellectually incapable of comprehending it.
