That was pretty cool, but he needed to use more lighter fluid.
I need to get a video input card for my computer, but when I
do I'll record my own bible burning and post it on the web.

Well, you're certainly tolerant!

Did I say I was tolerant? I have no tolerance for nonsense. Whether
it is religion or pseudoscience, false ideas need to be exposed and
I don't see why we should be tolerant of false ideas that brainwash
people into believing the earth is flat.

Rod is definitely a troll. Hmmm

Trolling is the practice of maliciously trying to incite others that use a
newsgroup, to deviate from the stated topic of the group. In other words,
trolling is an attempt to anger others to the point of drawing them into an
argument or an off topic debate.

It wasn't really trolling because all the groups I crossposted to were
relevant in some way. The xian groups are relevant because xians
worship the bible that is being burned. The Satanic, Atheist, and
Antixian groups are relevent because those groups enjoy watching bibles
being burned. The Marilyn Manson group is relevant because it was where
the original message I added crossposts to appeared, plus MM desecrates
bibles as part of his stage act. And the Charles Manson group is
relevant because he is Marilyn's inspiration.

People weren't trying to legislate morality
based on the perceived ethics of the Easter
Bunny or Santa Claus. People aren't killing
people in the name of the "Easter Bunny" or
"Santa Claus." People aren't berating other
folks for not believing in the Easter Bunny
or Santa Claus, or calling them evil. Maybe
there's a distinction that escapes you, no?

Santa and Bunny are innocent fun and everyone comes to know that
they're not real, usually after a few years of life.
The God fantasy should have the same weight that any other fictional
character has, but the concept has been used to control masses of
people throughout history, conning them into doing the bidding of the
slick leaders that now wage wars, forgive corporate crime, scalp oil
and collect tithes and taxes in an effort to rule the world. Be glad
they don't control water prices a la Enron/electricity yet.
Since religion conditions it's followers to believe things that aren't
real, it is now being used by the neocons that have usurped the US
government to manipulate believers on a grand scale. And since the
believers cannot recognize the wolves in sheep's clothing, the
security of the the rest of us, who do understand reality, are in
danger and now we have to stop it. You must make up your mind that
facts are things that exist and can be shown to be true, unlike any of
the many religious Gods. We won't hurt you. We'll just wake you up so
you can shed your parasites that prey in the name of God. (prey
spelled correctly. I don't mean pray.)
BTW: How come, if you believe in God, do you only believe in one of
the thousands that are out there? Since each religion says you're
doomed if you don't belong to it, do you have to belong to all of
them? Logically impossible.
Who told you about God and why did you accept the folly?
There's enough on this earth for everyone but these "religious"
leaders currently running the USA want all of it and their effort is
steadily progressing and it will be hard if not impossible to stop.
If atheism was fixin to ruin the world, I would speak out against it
the same way. It isn't. Religion is. Accept that and dwell on it.

Well I haven't seen any posts where someone is claiming that Santa or

There are two ways of getting around the problem you mention.
1 move somewhere else
2 vote AGAINST such laws
Actually, the Christians in America are merely trying to bring anti-
God, anti- Bible, anti-Christians legislation back into balance.
(see, while you were sleeping, a WHOLE bunch of anti-Christian,
anti-God, anti-Bible legislation has been passed)

Belief in a god is fine, but worshipping a book you claim is written
by that god is dumb because the book was obviously written by human
beings. Science can't determine whether God exists, but it can
determine that the nature of reality is not the same as what God
supposedly says it is in the bible (e.g. the earth is not 6000 years
old and flat, and the biblical description is in direct contradiction
to scientific observation).
In other words, your religion is not God. It does not speak for God,
it does not represent God in any way, and unless you get God to

does not support your religion's goals in any way.
