It's called Freedom of Speech.
I call it bad coffee
Now *THAT* may be the most true thing said in this whole thread!
Freedom of speech says that Starbucks has the right to say anything they
want to on their coffee cups. However, freedom of speech ALSO says that
Christians have the right to publicly denounce Starbucks, and initiate a
boycott.
Now, any Christian who is of a mind to seek legal remedy from the courts
or the government to prevent Starbucks from doing whatever they wish in
this regard --- that Christian has no business crying when the ACLU
tries to shut down THEIR speech in the public square.
You reap what you sow, friends. It's a principle as old as mankind
itself. I am speaking here as an avid and ardent believer. The truth
of Messiah stands on it's own, without help from us feeble humans. I
truly believe that the current backlash against Christian speech in our
nation today, is a direct result and the full responsibility of many of
the former efforts by well-meaning Christians to use courts and legal
remedies to force anti-Christian speech from out of the public square.
oh, I do believe that the backlash is all out of proportion with the
original effort - but aren't backlashes ALWAYS out of proportion?
Shalom!

You know, twice I have gotten a Starbucks Chai Latte with a pro-christian
message on the cup, so perhaps the christians should just grow up and shut
the ***** up. Maybe one of these days they'll learn to be a little less
self-centered.
