talk.origins is "robot-moderated", your posts are blocked iff:
- You attempt to cross-post to more than 4 newsgroups (cross-spamming)
- You hit the Breidbart Index, e.g. post the same message often in
short time (multi-spamming)
In rare cases your newsserver may be malconfigured, in that case,
contact your ISP or whoever operates it.
you are wrong and misinformed:
1. Thank you for correcting me.
2. Content moderation is, when a post is blocked for its content,
instead of its "spam factor".
3. I see no hint of CM in the rules below. If you're too ignorant
to restrict yourself to a handful (how about one?) newsgroup,
it's your fault. X-posting to t.o and alt.religion.j-w
seems still valid, if you could just get off the
"add group" button quickly enough, you could do it.
4. Your spam factor seems to have been a major concern to the
people organizing the t.o newsgroup.
5. Spam rules have a purpose. Keeping Usenet useful in spite
of the vandals.
Btw, in the post that started this thread, you included
alt.biology twice. You seem to get lost in your own maze.
Stop behaving like a political fugitive, it is disrespectful
towards the people that >really< get harassed for their views.

Hey thanks, You have proven why T.O practice content moderation,
beyond its charter..
What shall we call this, Heresay agaisnt science that must be crushed?
I don't even know who the TO moderator is,
David Iain Greig, a.k.a. DIG.
or how to get in touch with
him/her.
Email him or Larry Moran at the University of Toronto. DIG runs the
moderator
bot which controls posting to t.o. Larry Moran runs the machines on which
the
bot runs. You could also post a note on t.o. The word will get to them.
Given
the way that spambots are acting lately, I don't want to post his email
addie
without asking him first. Hint: the t.o robomoderator bot lives at
ediacara.org. It's remotely possible that DIG has an address there.
Even if I did, I wouldn't help you validate your paranoid delusions
anyways.
DIG has stated repeatedly in public that Jabs is not 'banned'. Jabs can
post
to t.o anytime he wants. It's just that, as a direct result of certain
past
actions, many of them perpetuated by Jabs, _NO-ONE_ who posts to t.o can
do
certain things. These include:
1 xpost to more than three other newsgroups (max groups: four) (largely
Jabs'
fault)
2 if one of the groups being xposted to is alt.religion.jehovahs-witn,
then
the _only_ two groups which can be xposted to are t.o and a.r.j-w.
(completely Jabs' fault; only he starts threads which are xposted to both
t.o
and a.r.j-w.)
3 if one of the groups being xposted to is sci.anthropology.paleo, then
the
_only_ two groups which can be xposted to are t.o and s.a.p. (largely
Jabs'
fault, though here he had help)
4 there can be no, none, zero, xposts between t.o and any other moderated
group. (nothing to do with Jabs, that's just the way USENET works)
5 there can be no, none, zero xposts between t.o and certain rape support
and
other support groups. Note: talk.rape is not a support group and is not
on the no-go list.
