Hi Jason, just wanted to say thanks for inspiring me to get my name on
the alt.atheist list. Apparently I'm now No. 2224, and the list has
taken on a whole new lease of life, thanks to you ! Your campaign to
'pray for No. 11 ' has created a phenomenal interest in the list and it
has recently attracted a record number of people clambering to get on
it....... all thanks to you, your services to atheism are the stuff of
legend...... keep up the good work, the list is now rapidly expanding
and you are creating atheists all over the place, for that, I thank you
.......

I don't create atheists. I do pray for them, though. The more that add
themselves to the list, the more that will receive prayers from people all
over the world!
I know you're thanking me, but I thank you. Now we know you. You'll be in
our prayers.
I've always been a big believer in making a loud mistake. The soft, quiet
mistakes often go unnoticed and unhelped. When someone like you speaks up
and gets on a prayer list, I mean an atheist list, it helps more than you
realize.

Jason

Probably not. Since free.christians is carried by a minority of
servers, (even qwest does not carry it), Jason still needs to drum up
threads, by cross posting to alt.atheism. If he does not cross post,
which would be very nice and polite of him, free.christians would
probably die out in a matter of months.
But then again, Jason is not known for being polite, or intelligent.
And since he can't stand NOT being the center of attention, he will
continue to cross post to a news group, of people he has killfiled.
Jason has now entered the species of troll. And is well on his way to twit.
And to think, some people claim evolution has never been observed. ;-)

Well on his way? By my reckoning, he passed "twit" at a dead gallop
about 3 weeks ago.

Jason is proof not only that evolution is true, but that it works in

Really? It is tempting then to give up slapping the twit around, just
to see that happen.
Or at least take free.christians out of the posting list.

Well, since Jason needs the attention, and has a strong desire to feed
his persecution complex, he'd probably drop free.christians and simply
post direct to alt.atheism.
There are a number of theists that, unfortunately, do that currently.
Denny comes to mind very quickly, even though Denny is no where near as
rude and arrogant as Jason is. Further, Denny actually can debate and
carry on a conversation with a good deal of finesse.
Jason is a twit, and his postings show him as an arrogant twit at that.
No, I'm afraid to say, no matter what we do, short of plonking the
moron, Jason is probably here to stay for a while. As long as he feels
he's being persecuted for Jeebus, he's going to continue to annoy us, to
feed that persecution.
It's a no win situation for the atheist, and Jason gets all the Jeebus
brownie points for being persecuted for his faith.

No, you don't. You sit on your spotty butt watching TV.
I challeneged you to put ina good, hard effort to show the bible was not
bull doo doo when it promises great miracle working abilities.
It don't. and no, you don't pray, admit it.
So, we get to razz you because you agree with me the bible
is nonsense. You didn't even try. You have no faith.
You are in effect just as much an Atheist as me, you have
no faith in god, bible nor Jesus.
I proved it!

I suppose you aren't familiar with my book. I corrected and explained every
assertion from The Skeptic's Annotated Bible. My book shows that the Bible
is inerrant. See it here: http://skepticsannotatedbible.org - it's called
The Skeptic's Annotated Bible: Corrected and Explained.
If you're so into challenges, then perhaps you can write a full rebuttal to
my full rebuttal.

Bwaaahahahaha! Rationalizing the irrationalities of the bible. How
quaint. You people need to come up with a new bible. Just start over.
The old one's got too many bugs. I figure someone would have by now, but
usually what happens is that when someone grows a brain big enough for the
task, he recognizes the futility and moves on to something more meaningful,
like taking a *****.
If you're so into challenges, then perhaps you can write a full
rebuttal to my full rebuttal.
Waste of time.

Hi Jason, just wanted to say thanks for inspiring me to get my name on
the alt.atheist list. Apparently I'm now No. 2224, and the list has
taken on a whole new lease of life, thanks to you ! Your campaign to
'pray for No. 11 ' has created a phenomenal interest in the list and
it has recently attracted a record number of people clambering to get
on it....... all thanks to you, your services to atheism are the
stuff of legend...... keep up the good work, the list is now rapidly
expanding and you are creating atheists all over the place, for that,
I thank you ......
I don't create atheists. I do pray for them, though. The more that add
themselves to the list, the more that will receive prayers from people all
over the world!
I would beg to differ.
Your pursuit of atheists has shown me the light. The light that
has broken me free of the corruption that was surrounding my world.
You have shown me that I was blindly following the words of false
prophets, charlatans and purveyors of ignorance.
I know you're thanking me, but I thank you. Now we know you. You'll be in
our prayers.
I thank you, Jason. The thought that people all over the world will be
praying that I backslide into the worshipping a broken demiurge can only
give me strength.
Strength so that even during the darkest of nights, with the blackest of
hearts, I shall be able to rage against the untruths that have bound me,
and stay true to my atheist course.
I've always been a big believer in making a loud mistake. The soft, quiet
mistakes often go unnoticed and unhelped. When someone like you speaks up
and gets on a prayer list, I mean an atheist list, it helps more than you
realize.
Your words have broken me free of the loud mistake that was binding me
to the chains of theisism, blinding my intellect and stunting my
emotional growth.
I can not thank you enough, you have given me the courage to take my
atheist baptism with grace and dignity. I can now proudly claim that I
am atheist number 2225.
Regards,
Jason
It is with great pride that I would like to dedicate my conversion to
atheism to you, dear Jason

Why should I list them for you Jason, do you find it hard to locate
and identify them?
Given your apparent ability to abuse lists, I fear I must refrain
from naming people.
A generic list, however, would include persons such as;
Christian Businessmen,
Television Evangelist's,
Members of Parliament, and
Members of religious organisations that covered up child abuse.
