Hijacked 767s hitting buildings are not a common occurrence, however, 3
buildings disintegrating in one day for whatever reason suggests it is
a common occurrence. Remember WTC7 wasn't hit with anything and it
still collapsed.

Everyday there are bombs, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, missles,
etc causing havoc all over the world. Iraq has been under attack for
2.5 years, where are all the videos of buildings disintegrating in
Iraq? Surely they don't building them better over there do they?

The Fema reports are not supported by any evidence, they are people
theorizing on how the towers "must" have fell based on airplane
impacts, fires, or other damage. There is nothing that proves the
theory is true. There is nothing wrong with a theory, but it should
not be taken as fact until it is proven. However, Professor Jones
makes this statement:

"The official explanation - that fires caused structural damage that
caused the buildings to collapse - can't be backed up by either
testing or history"

From here: http://deseretnews.com/dn/view/0,1249,635160132,00.html

Can't be backed up by either testing or history. Then the official
story is a theory, and you must concede that.

You make the statement "Buildings have been known to collapse". Well,
thats very exciting, however, I want to see a building disintegrate
into a pile of dust and rubble, including all core and supporting beams
at or near free fall speeds. It was a pretty common occurrence in New
York on 9/11, surely it has happened elsewhere, where is the evidence
of this?

This is the argument from incredulity. I think you have
the burden of offering evidence for an alternative hypothesis
and verifiable evidence for it. You're shifting the burden of
proof.

Wrong. The government does not get a free pass, they can't make any
claims they want without providing evidence to back them up.
Fact is, if collapses like we saw on 9/11 have never ever happened in
history for any reason other than controlled demolition, then any
effort to explain those collapses is nothing more than a theory.
There is nothing wrong with the official story being a theory. All
scientifically proven principals begin as theories, and the official
story on the collapses is no different.

See my previous post for my rebuttal of this.

scientifically proven principals begin as theories,

Ah no. Nothing starts out as a theory. That's where
it ends up. The _theory_ of gravitation. The National
Academy of Sciences defines theory as: ""a well
substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural
world that can incorporate facts, laws, inferences, and
tested hypotheses." Now that isn't what you meant
by the term, right? Another source:
"In scientific usage, theory is not the opposite of fact.
Theories are typically ways of explaining why things happen,
usually after the fact that they happen is no longer in
scientific dispute. In referring to the 'theory of global
warming', for example, there is no implication that
global warming is not occurring; world temperatures
have been measured and are increasing. The 'theory of
global warming' refers instead to scientific work that
explains how and why this has been happening.
"In various sciences, a theory is a logically self-consistent
model or framework for describing the behavior of a certain
natural or social phenomenon, thus either originating from
observable facts or supported by them (see scientific
method). In this sense, a theory is a systematic and
formalized expression of all previous observations made that is
predictive, logical, testable, and has never been falsified."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theory

and the official
story on the collapses is no different..
