Actually, reading the posts of many of the numbskulls on these boards, that
might just be the impression that one would get.
The point that gets lost in all the speculation is that Revelation--and,
indeed, all of the Bible--is about character building, and it's not a pretty
thing to watch sometimes.

Hello just some questions on these 4 horses. What do these horses eat?
I ask this as red horses are not very common these days and I was just
wondering if the owner of the red horse was feeding it additives. Also
do these horses have names because when I hear about the red horse this
and a red horse that it is just so impersonal. If for instance we have
a name like so and so riding JamJam the red horse it gives that story a
more human feel that we can all relate to.
