First, a correction. The BB says that "we do not avoid such places as long
as we have a legitamate reason for being there". Also - steps 4,5,8, & 9

Anyway - what does it all matter? If RR helps you to stay sober, then go
for it! Good for you! If AA helps you to stay sober, then go for it! Good
for you! If standing on your head while singing "John Jacob Jingleheimer
Schmidt" helps you to stay sober, then go for it! Good for you! The
important thing is staying sober - not what method you use to do so.
