I don't know. Malaysia isn't a particularly "freedom-loving" nation, is
it? Y'all got terra' and you won't give us your al-Qaida. Might need
some liberatin' by our "Bring 'em on!" fearless leader after we get the
draft going next election:
Malaysia contains proven oil reserves of 3.0 billion barrels, down from
4.3 billion barrels in 1996.

Malaysia Terrorism 2 4 0525 --Malaysia won't extradite alleged al Qaida
agent to U.S.
Kyodo World News Service; 2/4/2002
Dateline: KUALA LUMPUR, Feb. 4 Malaysia will not extradite alleged
al-Qaida agent Yazid Sufaat to the United States for questioning over his
suspected involvement in the Sept. 11 terror attacks there, Deputy Prime
Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said Monday.
Yazid is among dozens detained by Malaysian authorities for allegedly
plotting to overthrow the government through armed violence with the aim
of setting up an Islamic state.

Have you even been to Malaysia?
Y'all got terra' and you won't give us your al-Qaida.
Yes, we had and probably still have a number of terrorists out there.
Those that have not been rounded up are being hunted by our law
enforcement agencies.
Why do you want our terrorists anyway? You want to take them for a
walk on a leash?
Might need
some liberatin' by our "Bring 'em on!" fearless leader after we get the
draft going next election:
Great. Will you be on the frontline?

Satire, guy. Nobody I know in the real world says "terra". Dubya's a
Connecticutt yankee playing redneck for the rubes on the stage set ranch
they bought for the purpose. It's just part of the U.S. being insane at
the moment that they don't begin to see through that sort of presumably
obvious ploy.
But on a 1-7 (1 being excellent), Freedom House 2003 survey (latest) gives
Malaysia a "5" in both political and civil liberty. Excuse me if I'm not
impressed on that point.

Hard to tell on Usenet.

Well, we aren't in the real world. People say all sorts of things in
here; some of which they probably won't think of saying in public.

But do you think we Malaysians give a crap? Which brings us back to
fairplay's posts.

Latest is 2004. It's 5 and 4 respectively now.
Excuse me if I'm not
impressed on that point.
Neither am I impressed with surveys that confines the characteristics
of a country to a scale of 1-7. Perhaps you should read the detailed
Freedom House report on the country.
