And as I just found out on the History channel six months or so ago,
the original term was 'young woman' (nothing about her sexual status) ,
but in the translation from aramaic to greek, latin, we got 'the
virgin'.
The story has been twisted so much and so many, they're are 0 first
hand accounts extant, no one really knows if there was a historical
Jesus (H channel, did one also on 'who wrote the new testament: answer
we don't know).
let's tell the kids this in world history class (after they come from
intentional design biology), then they will have all the facts and can
sort it out for themselves.

Revelation uses the term "parthenos" to refer directly to "young men".
But I am interested to know how they got the original aramaic for this
chapter, as it does not exist.
