God save our Republic!
Prayer For Peace:
O God, you are the origin of all holy desires, good counsel, and just
works. Grant us, please, *that peace which the world cannot give.*
Then, with hearts devoted to your commandments and all fear of enemies
removed, may we serve you in tranquil times. This we ask in Christ's
name. Amen.

If you get fed up of waiting, go here:

or
http://www.finalexit.org/ddbookframe.html
I would recommend "How to die with dignity", my grandfather used it,
(and a vacuum cleaner hose, a secluded spot, a couple of sleeping
pills and his trusty old Leyland Ital) to make his point (ho hum, once
a Catholic...).

Conflict over the exact will/purpose/nature of God cannot ever be
resolved, since there are no facts to go on.

Get behind us, Satan!
Prayer For Patience:
Heavenly Father, you humbled the pride of our old enemy, the devil, by
the patience of your only Son. We beg you to grant us a lively
remembrance of all He suffered for us. *By His example may we be
enabled to bear patiently the trials we suffer.* In His name we
implore you. Amen.

If you don't like the backwash, don't paddle in alt.atheism. You
didn't get the point about martyrdom, either, did you? Besides, some
Pope decided suicide was a mortal sin. The Bible says that Christ
actually told his followers to do it (Matthew 16:25).

I suggest that we set a time limit for his answer.

There but for circumstances go I.
It is the right and the duty of every person to rationally and skeptically
examine a proposition before accepting it, and if that proposition turns out
to not be supported by logic or evidence, it is the mark of a mature mind to
be able to set it aside and face life as it really is.
