Re: The two most persecuted groups: atheists & ET experiencers |
Firstly, there are people who have had ufo/et experiences who WOULD
claim that they HAVE been harrassed and tortured and even a few
murdered.
NATURALLY, the number of people with such experiences is very small:
certainly smaller than the total number of gay and bisexual persons,
for instance. THEREFORE, the total number of those with such
experiences who have also been harrassed or even threatened. is even
smaller.
Now -- if you start questioning the scientific proof of crimes against
ufo/et persons, then you have to question the scientific proof of
crimes
against ANYbody. That is COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT of the existence or
non-existence of evidence of ufos/ets, any more than the scientific
proof of the Holocaust of Jews, which is voluminous, is independent of
the proof of the existence of a god, which is zero.
Secondly, I have a right to make any comparisons I want.
Tons of fucking pieces of ***** on this planet make ACTUAL false
comparisons all the time,
like the assholes who compare the hell the Nazis did to euthanizing
babies before they are conscious.
*I*, and those who have had ufo sightings and ET encounters,
(and those at the other "extreme" of not having had any supernatural
experiences or beliefs: like atheists) are NOT the ones murdering
and torturing gay or bisexual people.
Thirdly, I am sorry for the terrible injustices against you. That is
PRECISELY why I support force, such as military force, to come to
their rescue in this or any other country. But DON'T pick on people
who my think that someone
else's experiences are worse than yours. All that matters is that I
believe your torture and abuse is bad enough to take action, which it
is.
For example:
The torture of animals is INFINITELY worse than the insignificant
inconvenience of giving up meat and fur for other types of food and
clothing. THAT is something YOU can control. THAT is the choice.
You and I, however, do
not control who Saddam Hussein tortures, unless one of us is Saddam
Hussein.
It doesn't matter one fucking bit if I think the
pain the animals experience is even worse than your getting hit with a
beer
bottle. Those are independent events! They are BOTH bad and BOTH
shouldn't
happen. It is MY RIGHT to believe whatever the ***** I damn well want.
In the event of the beer bottle, the choice is simply between
the ***** who threw it at you simply having to live with the fact
that other people are not all heterosexual like him (I will assume it
was a male), versus your terror and pain. Clearly, the first choice is
better. Frankly, I would have blown his head away with a gun.
It is like the divisive crap that some individuals try to throw
between
Jews and African-Americans. Who had a worse? Who cares? Pick one and
say that they BOTH had things sufficiently bad to take action.
Actually,
I DO appreciate the person who showed the data quantifying offenses
against various categories of persons.
