As an atheist, I don't need to actively deny YOUR god anymore than you
need to deny Allah, or the prophet Joseph Smith, or the Buddha.

You're interpreting people's opposition to the radical fundimentalists
of christianity as "denying god", but you're mistaken.

You're correct, but, like I said, as an atheist, I don't "deny" the
christian god anymore than a christian denies Buddha or Allah or Zeus.
Christians normally don't deny these valid gods because, to them, they
simply do not exist, so why actively deny them?

Atheists look at Jesus the same way Christians look at Zeus.
