'More correct' in whose opinion? Obviously you can't assign a
value of objective correctness to a subjective judgment - That
would be a contradiction in terms. Subjective opinions are
just that, so you actually answered your own question - You
just don't quite see it yet :-)

<sigh> I've already been down this road. Opinions (judgements if you prefer)
about a fact doesn't change a fact. Facts are grounded/objective.
Therefore....
....you don't see it yet. There is no "more correct" in relativism -tossing
babies is good because I and my buddies say so. Who are you to say it's
wrong? Our subjective opinion, like yours, is neutral. Your opinion along
with mine is inane (meaningless) under relativism. Nothing would ground
morality so, therefore, no moral progress is possible. To say moral progress
has been made is an illusion. "A convenient fantasy."

We agreed in another exchange that 'relativism', according to your
quoted definition, doesn't exist. Opinions certainly exist, everyone
has them, so how can they be 'meaningless'?

Since morality is subjective, 'moral progress' (whatever you think you
mean by that) must be subjective too. One person's moral progress
would be another person's moral... ummm... can't think of an
appropriate word... degeneration? An obvious example would be the
attitude to homosexuality. One person thinks that the widespread
acceptance of homosexuality is progress, another person thinks it's
degeneration. Subjective judgments, Scott.
