OK, where are the WMD? Ballon inflators and rusty crap that's been buried
for over 10 years doesn't count. It was stated that Saddam had a
"significant offensive chemical weapon capacity, produced thousands of
liters of anthrax, and had an active nuclear weapons development effort"
(paraphrased) - where are they? The uranium documents were forged, forgery
is also known as lying. At bare minimum, if he allowed suspect intelligence
into his State of the Union speech, that points to criminal negligence.
Lying the nation into a war and getting thousands injured and killed on both
sides should be enough to get him impeached. Also, another bush whopper..."I

claims have been fading away down to the point of "we got a nasty bad
guy"...the crap they found today has been buried for a long time and was

to 9/11. Then the immediacy of the WMD claim went away. Then the 9/11 claim
went away. Then the WMD claim went to "he had R&D programs". Then that was
downgraded to "he was thinking about WMD". Then it just all got turned into
"we got rid of a really bad guy, so what if the pre-war intelligence was
false?". NOTE: I do not support Saddam Hussein. I just don't think that the
US is obliged to be the world's cop. That's why we get terrorists...it's
just the schoolyard bully thing on a larger scale. The bully throws his
weight around for a while, keeps everyone scared to death, but sooner or
later some of the other kids gang up and give him a black eye or a bloody
nose. It's human nature, and it applies on the scale of individuals or
nations.
